NOTE: Lake Ballinger is also known as Moonen Lake.

Lake Ballinger is one of the prime fishing spots in the area. In 2004 the lake was almost completely dry, but fortunately it was saved with sufficient rainfall later that year. This even was actually a great for fishing with the lake being completely restocked with fish in 2005. There are multiple species of fish including White Crappie, Channel and Blue Catfish, Largemouth Bass, White Bass, and sunfish.
